- We met in the fall of 2001, and were married on September 15th, 2007 in the town where we met, Wilmington, NC. We currently live in Greensboro with our precious maltese daughter, Mollie-Kate Holloman-Blackwell. Blake's family has, for many years, called him "Bud". It has no real basis, however the nickname is only fully appreciated audibly. Imagine Clark Griswold calling "Russ", and thus you get the manner in which "Bud" is to be stated. Before we were married, Blake's mother lovingly bestowed upon me the counterpart nickname to her only son....and forever I am "Bloom"...
